Addressing various challenges facing Nigeria, Nwoko highlighted economic struggles, security concerns, and the pressing issue of minimum wage. He argued that a significant raise is imperative for all workers. “Even if we consider a hundred thousand naira,” he stated, “it would only meet basic needs. We must be pragmatic about our economic reality.”

Nwoko firmly advocated for a minimum wage of ₦100,000 as a starting point, asserting that anything lower undermines the dignity of civil servants. He urged a realistic approach to align wages with the cost of living and the challenges individuals face in sustaining their livelihoods.
