In a statement released on Monday by his spokesperson, Moses Olafare, the monarch expressed empathy for the hardships faced by many citizens. He emphasized that the current situation represents a significant testing period for the country.

Ahead of his seven-day seclusion, during which he will pray and connect with his ancestors, Oba Ogunwusi underscored the importance of this sacred rite.
