Fubara Inspects Ikwerre LG Secretariat, Denounces Arson Attack

On Monday, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State toured the Ikwerre Local Government Area secretariat to evaluate the damage inflicted by arsonists. He previously cautioned about orchestrated assaults aimed at destabilizing the region. The fire reportedly shattered windows and destroyed office equipment, files, chairs, tables, and other supplies. This incident follows the withdrawal of police officers assigned to secure the 23 council secretariats, a decision made by the Commissioner of Police on the same day.
