Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, has voiced concerns over Nigeria’s ongoing power struggles, highlighting issues with unreliable electricity and repeated national grid failures.
He condemned the three-week blackout affecting the Southeast, Northwest, and Northeast regions, calling on the responsible authorities to promptly restore electricity to these areas.
In a post on his official X.com handle, Atiku shared that his policy document, My Covenant with Nigerians, outlines a proactive plan aimed at ending Nigeria’s persistent power outages.
