Yamal played a pivotal role in Spain’s triumph at Euro 2024, contributing with a goal and four assists, which secured him the Best Young Player accolade just a day after his birthday. This season, he has continued to shine with Barcelona, notably scoring in the recent El Clasico, where his team triumphed with a resounding 4-0 victory over Real Madrid.
With this achievement, Yamal joins his teammates Pedri and Gavi, both of whom have previously received the Kopa Award. The honor was presented to him by Netherlands legend Ruud Gullit, as he attended the ceremony alongside his Barcelona teammate, Olmo.
