Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike announced that Abuja’s landscape would undergo a major transformation by the end of President Bola Tinubu’s first term in 2027, due to extensive infrastructure developments. Speaking on Monday at the inauguration of the upgraded War College/Army Checkpoint Road and other linked roads in Ushafa, Bwari Area Council, Abuja, Wike emphasized that the city, along with surrounding area councils, would see significant changes.
He highlighted that more than 15 projects are in progress across various councils, with three additional projects set for launch in satellite towns. Wike called on residents to observe the progress and urged citizens to hold elected officials accountable, stressing that Tinubu’s administration is dedicated to fulfilling its promises.
