The match was a one-sided affair, with Atletico taking the lead early. Alvarez curled a free-kick into the top corner in the 15th minute, and Llorente extended the advantage just before halftime with a fortunate goal off a cross. In the second half, Alvarez scored again after leading a counterattack, followed by late goals from Griezmann and Correa.

Atletico now sits 9th in the Champions League standings with 9 points from 5 games, while Sparta Prague remains in 28th place with 4 points.

 

In a tight contest, AC Milan secured a 3-2 victory over Slovan Bratislava, marking their third consecutive win in the competition. Christian Pulisic gave Milan the lead, but Slovan equalized quickly through Tigran Barseghyan. Milan regained the advantage thanks to goals from Rafael Leao and Tammy Abraham, with Slovan pulling one back late through Nino Marcelli.
