The Kogi State Ministry of Health has refuted recent rumors circulating about recruitment activities by the State Hospitals Management Board (HMB) and the State Specialist Hospital. In a statement issued by the ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Dorothy Onoja, on behalf of the Commissioner for Health, the ministry clarified that there are no ongoing recruitment efforts at either institution.

The statement described the rumors as entirely false and urged the public to disregard them. It further cautioned individuals to be wary of those claiming to offer employment in exchange for payment, emphasizing that no government official would ever request such payments for job opportunities.

The Ministry also recommended that those seeking accurate information about job openings within the HMB and State Specialist Hospital consult the official websites of these institutions or reach out to them directly.
