▪ Pays Tribute to Olamide in ‘Military’ Amid Exit Rumors
▪ Continues Distribution Partnership with Empire
Nigerian music sensation Ahmed Ololade, famously known as Asake, has officially parted ways with YBNL Nation, the record label founded by Olamide.
Amid swirling speculations of a controversial split, Asake confirmed his exit by releasing his latest track, Why Love, under his own imprint, Giran Republic. However, in his earlier 2024 single, Military, he acknowledged Olamide, subtly shutting down rumors of any fallout.
The Lonely at the Top crooner joined YBNL in February 2022 and later secured a distribution deal with Empire in July of the same year. Despite leaving YBNL, he remains affiliated with Empire, ensuring continued global reach for his music.
