Travelers flying from Dubai to Lagos will gain access to more destinations within Nigeria, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, and Calabar, among others. Corporate travelers will benefit from expanded options in key Nigerian cities, such as Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt, strengthening the bilateral trade and economic relationship between Nigeria and the UAE.
This collaboration also aligns with the recently amended Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) between the two nations, further solidifying their aviation ties. Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Oluwatoyin Olajide, highlighted that the partnership with Emirates enhances global connectivity for Nigerian travelers and aligns with Air Peace’s goal of offering seamless, world-class travel experiences. The partnership is expected to stimulate business, tourism, and trade, while positioning Nigeria as a vital hub for both regional and global travel.
On the operational side, Emirates’ Dubai-Lagos route, serviced by the Boeing 777-300ER, offers passengers a luxurious in-flight experience with a selection of premium meals, beverages, and entertainment, including Nigerian films. This partnership further enhances Nigeria’s aviation sector and provides travelers with a distinctive, high-quality experience.
