Patience Ozokwor, Paul Obazele, Others Join RODI Visit to Senator Imasuen
Delegation led by Nollywood veteran Onuwura Agility briefs Senator Imasuen on upcoming RODI Gala Night aimed at honouring legends and supporting industry veterans.

The Edo South lawmaker, Senator Neda Imasuen, on Friday received a delegation from the RODI Foundation in his office in Abuja. The courtesy visit was led by Nollywood veteran Onuwura Agility and included notable figures from the Nigerian entertainment industry, such as Paul Obazele, Patience Ozokwor (Mama G), and Dokpesi Regina.
The visit was part of the Foundation’s preparations for the upcoming RODI Gala Night, an annual event designed to honour legends and spotlight emerging talents in the film, music, and sports sectors. The Gala also aims to advocate for structured welfare and retirement systems for veterans in the creative industry.
Speaking during the meeting, Onuwura Agility thanked Senator Imasuen for the warm reception and outlined the objectives of the Gala. He emphasized the need for institutional support for creatives who have contributed immensely to the nation’s cultural and entertainment legacy.
“We are here to seek your support for this noble cause. The Gala is not just about celebration it’s about sustainability, legacy, and care for our industry heroes,” Agility said.
In his response, Senator Imasuen praised the Foundation’s vision and reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the creative economy and preserve Nigeria’s cultural heritage.

The RODI Gala Night is expected to draw leading personalities from the creative and sports industries and serve as a platform for celebrating excellence and fostering long-term support for industry pioneers.
