Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has revealed her evolving perspective on love and relationships, stating that while she remains open to finding love and potentially remarrying, dating younger men is no longer part of her plan.
In a recent interview, the 50-something actress reflected on a past phase in her life when she dated a younger man, describing it as a period of “having fun.” However, Bello emphasized that she has since moved on from that chapter. “That season has passed,” she declared, explaining that her current approach to relationships is far more grounded in emotional depth, shared values, and life compatibility.
She made it clear that she is no longer interested in “boyish thrills” or fleeting romances motivated by attraction or age, instead seeking mature, stable, and intentional connections. “I’m not saying no to marriage,” said Bello, “But I know what I want now and it’s not a boyish thrill. I want something real.”
Her candid admission marks a significant shift toward prioritizing meaningful companionship and emotional stability as she navigates the next chapter of her personal life.
