Davido to Chioma at Miami Wedding: “You Are My Peace, My Home”

 Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, melted hearts at his lavish Miami white wedding when he turned to his bride, Chioma Rowland, and declared: “You are my peace, my home.”

The emotional moment came as the couple exchanged vows before family, friends, celebrities, and dignitaries who had flown in from across the globe for the highly anticipated #Chivido2025 celebration.

Chioma, stunning in a custom white gown, smiled through tears as Davido expressed his gratitude for her love and resilience over the years. The singer, known for his energetic stage performances, spoke softly but firmly, telling her: “No matter where I go or what I achieve, you will always be my safe place.”

The Miami ceremony, estimated to have cost over $3.7 million, featured strict dress code rules banning white or cream for guests, glamorous pre-wedding events, and an emotional tribute to the couple’s late son, Ifeanyi, with Davido wearing custom cufflinks engraved with the child’s image.

With the vows sealed and the celebrations in full swing, the singer hinted at a new phase in their lives, saying, “From today, the world will know  you are my forever.”
