Wikki Tourists are on the verge of securing the signature of former Golden Eaglets midfielder Umeh Gozie, with talks reportedly in the final stages.
The Bauchi Elephants have intensified negotiations with the 26-year-old, who struggled for game time at Enyimba last season, making just four appearances in the 2024–25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.
Gozie, who once dazzled in Nigeria’s U-17 colours, previously played for nine-time NPFL champions Enyimba. His potential move to Bauchi could offer the fresh start he needs to reignite his career.
However, Wikki face competition from Nasarawa United, who are also monitoring the midfielder’s situation closely.
