Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has smashed another milestone, becoming the African artist with the highest number of entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His latest collaboration with American rapper Gunna, “WGFT” from Gunna’s new album The Last Wun, debuted at No. 96 on this week’s Hot 100. The feat pushed Burna Boy’s total entries on the prestigious chart to seven.

The Last Last crooner also achieved another historic first, emerging as the only African artist to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 for five consecutive years—2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. He made his debut appearance in 2021 with Loved By You alongside Canadian pop star Justin Bieber, before earning his first solo spot in 2022 with Last Last, which peaked at No. 44.

Beyond the US charts, Burna Boy has cemented his global dominance. He boasts a record-breaking 26 entries on the UK Singles Chart and 11 appearances on the Canadian Hot 100.

With these numbers, Burna Boy continues to redefine African music’s footprint on the global stage.
