Nollywood Actor Ibrahim Chatta Mourns Son Months After Recalling Daughter’s Painful Death

Nollywood star Ibrahim Chatta has been thrown into mourning following the death of his son.

The 54-year-old actor broke the news on Saturday through an emotional Instagram post where he shared his son’s photo without revealing details of his passing. In his caption, he wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”

The tragedy comes just months after Chatta recounted the heartbreaking loss of his first child, a daughter, many years ago. He revealed in June that financial hardship at the time denied him access to proper medical care for her. The little girl, he disclosed, was eventually buried in a wooden Coca-Cola crate.

Fans and colleagues have since flooded his page with condolences, expressing shock and sympathy over the actor’s second devastating loss.
