Bendel Insurance have charged their players to sustain discipline and focus as the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) enters its second stanza.

The club’s General Manager, Charles Ihimekpen, issued the directive while reflecting on the end of the first half of the season, urging the squad to build on their recent resurgence.

Ihimekpen stressed the need for professionalism, calling on the players to return re-energised after the mid-season break and maintain their upward momentum in the league.

He noted that management expects the team to preserve its discipline and consistency in order to extend its impressive run in the NPFL.

The Benin Arsenals have been placed on a five-day festive break, after which they are expected to resume with renewed commitment.

Bendel Insurance have enjoyed a remarkable turnaround since Kennedy Boboye assumed duties as technical adviser, with the club currently unbeaten in their last seven league matches.

The run has propelled the Benin-based side to ninth position on the NPFL table with 26 points, strengthening their hopes of a more successful second half of the campaign.
