Pep Guardiola’s squad sits just three points behind the leaders with a crucial game in hand. Meanwhile, Arsenal are struggling to maintain their form as they chase a first league trophy in 22 years.

The match sparkled with drama from the start. Rayan Cherki opened the scoring for the hosts with a brilliant solo run, weaving past Declan Rice to finish calmly. However, a huge mistake by goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma allowed Kai Havertz to equalise for the visitors. Despite this lifeline, the Gunners lacked clinical finishing.
