Erling Haaland has once again finished as the top scorer in the Premier League after winning the Golden Boot award at the end of the 2025-26 season. The Manchester City striker delivered another powerful campaign, ending the season with 27 league goals.

The Norwegian forward finished five goals ahead of Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who secured second place in the scoring standings. Haaland also ended the season 10 goals clear of his Manchester City teammate Antoine Semenyo, who finished third on the list.

This latest success marks Haaland’s third Premier League Golden Boot award since arriving in England. His achievement places him alongside some of the competition’s greatest strikers, including Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Harry Kane, and Mohamed Salah, who have all won the prize three times.

Haaland’s consistency in front of goal has remained one of Manchester City’s biggest strengths over recent seasons. His movement, finishing ability and physical presence have continued to trouble defenders across the league. The striker once again proved decisive in important matches as City pushed for another successful campaign.

Winning another Golden Boot award further strengthens Haaland’s growing reputation as one of the best forwards in modern football. At just 25 years old, the Manchester City star still has plenty of time to chase more records in the Premier League.

Can Erling Haaland continue breaking scoring records in English football over the next few seasons?
