Airport Expressway to Kuje road: Tinubu declares government will solve inherited challenges

|By Adekunle Adejumo and Awaji-Ichiem- Airport Expressway to Kuje road was commissioned on Thursday as President Bola Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to complete abandoned projects. He said the Airport Expressway to Kuje road reflects a promise kept to residents of the Federal Capital Territory.

Speaking through Vice President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu declared that his government inherits challenges to solve them, not abandon them. He noted that the Airport Expressway to Kuje road, awarded in 2022, had stalled and caused frustration for commuters and businesses.

However, he said the appointment of Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister revived the project through political will and legal compensation processes. Tinubu added that the Airport Expressway to Kuje road now stands as proof of delivery and renewed governance focus.
