UK Police Launch Hunt for Suspect in Family Deaths

UK police have launched an international manhunt for Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, a 45-year-old British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage, who is suspected of killing his wife and two daughters before travelling to Zimbabwe. The UK police manhunt began after investigators discovered the bodies of his family members at their home in Bedford, central England. Authorities believe Tshuma left the United Kingdom shortly after the deaths.

Police said Tshuma, also known as Mark, reportedly departed the country through London Heathrow Airport on July 4 using a British passport. Investigators believe he has since travelled to Zimbabwe and are working with national and international agencies to locate him.

The bodies of his wife, Zandile Tshuma, aged 42, and their daughters, Natalie, 15, and Nala, five, were found at the family’s £1.3 million home in an affluent part of Bedford after officers responded to concerns raised on July 6.

Detective Lee Martin confirmed that police believe Tshuma is currently in Zimbabwe and said efforts are continuing to trace his whereabouts.

“We know that Mark Tshuma left the country on Saturday and is now believed to be in Zimbabwe,” Martin told reporters.

The detective also issued a direct appeal to Tshuma, urging him to surrender to authorities.

“We are actively working with national and international agencies to pursue every available line of inquiry to track you down,” he said.

The UK police manhunt has involved cooperation between British authorities and international law enforcement bodies as investigators continue their search for the suspect.

Reports from UK media, citing Companies House records, indicated that Tshuma operated a property business known as Nexus Trove Holdings from the family residence.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths and locate Tshuma.
