Blessing CEO granted N20 million bail after spending six weeks in Kirikiri prison as she faces trial over an alleged N69.15 million property fraud case. A Lagos State Special Offences Court approved her release on Thursday but imposed strict conditions, including a travel restriction enforced by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS).

Justice Rahman Oshodi raised her bail from the earlier N10 million to N20 million. He also ordered her to provide two sureties in the same amount. In addition, each surety must present proof of deposits worth N20 million maintained for at least three years.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned the controversial self-proclaimed relationship expert on June 9, 2026. Prosecutors accused her of fraudulently obtaining N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited. They alleged that she collected the money in March 2025 after promising to secure a property lease in the Lekki area of Lagos.

However, Blessing CEO denied the allegations. She pleaded not guilty to a two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretences and stealing.

Meanwhile, the court directed the Nigerian Immigration Service to enforce travel restrictions until the case is concluded. The judge also adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, when the trial will continue.
