Nigeria Customs Releases Final Recruitment List

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has published the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II). The Nigeria Customs recruitment process has now entered its next phase, with shortlisted applicants expected to complete additional requirements before their appointments are confirmed.

In a statement issued by National Public Relations Officer Abdullahi Maiwada on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, the Service advised candidates to check their recruitment status through the official Nigeria Customs Service website or selected national newspapers. Applicants should also monitor the email address and phone number used during registration, as successful candidates will receive further instructions through email or SMS.

Candidates whose names appear on the final list must visit the designated Nigeria Customs recruitment portal using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address. They are required to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness issued by a government-recognised hospital before proceeding to the next stage.

According to the Service, the portal for uploading medical certificates will open on 29 July 2026, and successful applicants will have one week to complete the process. Candidates are encouraged to obtain their medical certificates early to avoid missing the deadline.

The Nigeria Customs Service also instructed successful applicants to update their current state of residence on the portal before accepting their provisional appointment by selecting the “Accept Offer” option. After completing these steps, they should wait for their Trainee Identification Number, which will be issued within one week.

The Service said details of the next phase, including documentation, physical screening dates, venues, and other important instructions, will be communicated through its official channels. It warned that failure to meet any requirement or deadline could result in disqualification and the loss of the provisional appointment.
