A 30-YEAR-OLD MAN IN LAGOS IS SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KILLING HIS BOSS AND ANOTHER PERSON.

On Tuesday, July 11, a Special Offenses Court in Ikeja, Lagos, condemned 30-year-old Vincent Jeffrey Ehizojie to death by hanging for murdering his boss, Olusola Olusoga, the proprietor of Etashol Hotel and Suites, and the hotel’s manager, Tunji Omikunle.

Justice Oyindamola Ogala’s ruling stated that the prosecution’s case was beyond a reasonable doubt.

Vincent, who was a supervisor at the hotel at the time of the crime, was charged with two counts of attempted murder in court.

The incident was allegedly perpetrated by Ehizojie on January 25, 2019, at around three in the morning at 42, Budland Street, Ojodu-Berger, Lagos, which is where the hotel was situated.

He was alleged to have plotted with other individuals who are still at large to rob the hotel manager and owner but instead strangled them to death.
