A BIKER ALLEGEDLY ROBBED, RAPED, AND MURDERED A WOMAN IN CROSS RIVER STATE.

Odide Regina Uke, a lady from Cross River State, is said to have been raped and murdered.

She was slain by a commercial biker after arriving in the community from Abuja to celebrate Christmas with her family, according to reports. According to accounts, Regina arrived on Thursday night, December 22, 2022, and fell into the hands of a biker, on whose back she hitched a ride to her hometown, Abuagbor in Nyanya Ward.

She was never seen alive again, and all attempts to locate her were futile.
Her body, however, was discovered about a week later somewhere along the Ugboro & Ijibor Community axis in the same Bekwarra LG.

According to reports, she was robbed of her things, raped, then murdered by the suspect. Hon. Dr. Emeka Owan, Chairman of Bekwarra LG, confirmed the occurrence in a statement on January 2, 2023, saying he has established a high body of investigation to solve the riddle behind the murder.
