A five-year-old is fatally raped to death by a suspected homosexual in Ogun.

Detectives have detained Sikiru Ajibola, 36, a suspected homosexual, for fatally raping a 5-year-old kid in the Ogijo region of Ogun State.
The CDA Chairman of Olorunwa Arogbeja Ogijo filed a report at Ogijo Divisional headquarters, which led to the suspect’s detention.

The complainant notified the police that a member of the neighborhood had informed him that the suspect had inappropriate carnal knowledge of a five-year-old boy, which had resulted in the boy’s death.

Detectives from the DPO Ogijo Division, led by CSP Enatufe Omoh, arrived to the scene where the culprit was detained promptly.

This was announced in a statement on Saturday by Superintendent of Police Abimbola Oyeyemi of the Ogun Police.

On questioning, the accused suspect admitted to being gay and that the deceased youngster passed away while they were having sex, according to Oyeyemi.

“He said further that he hastily buried the youngster in a small grave in a nearby bush.

“He had also brought officers to the grave of the deceased.”

The immediate transfer of the matter to the homicide department of the State Criminal Investigation Departments was mandated by Ogun Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, for further investigation and zealous prosecution.
