A recent graduate of Ondo State’s Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba, Akoko (AAUA) was fatally stabbed by an alleged local after a dispute over a N1,000 debt.

The victim, simply known as Temitayo, was attacked with scissors in the early hours of April 6 in the state’s Akungba region.

It was reported that he was taken to a hospital in a hurry, where he eventually passed away from his wounds.

According to an unnamed source who spoke with People’s Gazette, Temitayo offered to clear the bill for the third party in a naira payment dispute between a “egbon adugbo” and another party.

He paid N3000 of the N4000 but was unable to raise the final N1000. They began to bother him, and he told them to stop because he was only trying to help.

Today’s afternoon saw a man enter the villa. He told them he couldn’t give them any money because they were acting as Egbon ADUGBO as usual to collect it, which sparked an argument and their appearance out of nowhere to knife him.
