Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has complained about the electoral process as Nigerians troop out to cast their votes.
Moments after arriving at his polling unit where he casted his vote, Sowore said the electoral process is “a little bit cumbersome and frustrating”.
While at the RCM polling unit 005, Ese Odo Local Government Area (LGA) in Ondo State, Sowore said: “So far, everything is peaceful. Voter turnout is very high and encouraging.
“We are expecting that results will start trickling in after 2pm, but the process is a little slow and frustrating for voters; people standing out here for hours just to get accredited and then vote.
“It is a little bit cumbersome and frustrating, but otherwise, it’s been good so far. I’m glad we saw a huge turnout of voters.”
