The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents detained a guy named Madu Chukwuemeka Miracle, 27, for bringing cocaine into Nigeria from Kenya.
The suspect was detained at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, AIIA, Enugu on arrival from Nairobi, Kenya through Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Wednesday, October 26, according to a statement by the agency’s Director of Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi.
“A search of his three suitcases turned up two plastic bottles containing what appeared to be cream-like liquid, which tested positive for cocaine, and 76 foreign bathing soaps prepared with cocaine in another bag. The entire weight of the cocaine was 13.146 kilograms, made up of the liquid cocaine’s 2.496 kilogram weight and the cocaine bars’ combined weight of 10.650 kilograms, according to the statement.
