A MAN WAS ARRESTED IN BAUCHI FOR STABBING A MEDIATOR TO DEATH DURING A FIGHT.

Idriss Baba Saje, 32, has been arrested by police in Bauchi State for stabbing one Yunusa Garba to death.

SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, the command’s spokesperson, said in a statement on January 4 that the suspect stabbed Garba on the chest with a sharp object when the deceased attempted to intervene during a f#ght between him and the manager of a hotel.

“On 01/01/2023, around 0130 HRS, the Patrol team attached to the Command’s Quick Intervention Unit received a distress call that one Idriss Baba Saje had an altercation with the Manager of Liberty Hotel that resulted in a physical confrontation.”

Yunusa Garba (Deceased)’m’, 25, who came to intervene was st@bbed with a sharp object on his chest by the suspect Idriss Baba Saje.

Following receipt of the information, the aforementioned patrol team rushed to the scene and rushed the victim to Bauchi Specialist Hospital for medical treatment, but the victim was certified dead by the medical doctor.
