In Asaba, Delta State, a two-year-old kid was killed and his one-year-old sibling was hospitalized by stray gunshots that were allegedly fired by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

On Thursday, July 13, 2023, it was learned that the children were in their mother’s shop when they were struck by stray gunshots.

Harrison Gwamnishu, a human rights activist, claims that the officers began firing randomly while conducting a raid in the region.

The older brother passed away at the Federal Medical Center in Asaba after the two brothers were struck by stray gunshots.

The grieving father was seen driving behind the police van in the leaked footage as he repeatedly described the tragic incident.
