ABDULRASHEED, THE NUC’S EXECUTIVE SECRETARY, HAS RESIGNED.

Professor Abubakar Abdulrasheed, Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), has resigned from the Commission.

On Monday, he resigned from the Commission while granting the issuance of a provisional license to Kogi State University in Kabba, Kogi State.

Abdulrasheed stated that he intends to resume educating at Bayero University in Kano, where he worked before to his appointment as NUC scribe.

He referred to the new university as his “last baby” in the Commission, having approved other universities across the country during his seven-year tenure.
