Abiodun Secures Chinese Infrastructure Giant for Ogun’s Development Drive

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has sealed a landmark partnership with Shandong Luqiao, a flagship company under the Fortune Global 500-listed Shandong Hi-speed Group, to boost infrastructure development across the state.

The Governor met with the leadership of the Chinese construction giant during his investment tour in China, where both parties explored collaboration in modern infrastructure and industrial growth.

Shandong Luqiao, renowned worldwide for its expertise in bridge construction, highway projects, and large-scale infrastructure, described Ogun State as a strategic partner for expansion.

According to a statement by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Strategy, Kayode Akinmade, the meeting opened fresh opportunities for collaboration. “With their qualifications in highway and municipal engineering, as well as licenses in hydropower and power engineering, Shandong Luqiao has earned global acclaim for delivering world-class infrastructure,” he said.

Governor Abiodun noted that the agreement underscores his administration’s commitment to making Ogun the hub of modern infrastructure and industrial growth.
