ACCORDING TO ATIKU’S AIDE, TINUBU INTENDS TO REWARD WIKE WITH A MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT FOR MANIPULATING THE ELECTIONS.

The 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar’s special assistant on public communication, Phrank Shaibu, has accused President Bola Tinubu of wanting to reward the outgoing Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, with a cabinet position.

Shaibu claimed that the alleged ministerial appointment was made to reward Wike for rigging the election in the State to favor Tinubu. Shaibu maintained that election results in places like Rivers demonstrated that the previous presidential election was hardly legitimate.

According to a statement from Shaibu, the PDP leader, it was unfortunate that Tinubu intended to give Wike a cabinet position despite the fact that a petition against the former governor is still pending and has received close to 300,000 votes.

According to him, approximately 300,000 Nigerians have so far signed a petition on change.org calling for Governor Wike to be denied visas.

“As payment for that humiliating election, Tinubu is about to install Wike as a minister.
