On Monday, President Muhammadu Buhari declared that he had vowed to do everything in his power to serve Nigeria and Nigerians.
As part of the APC Presidential Campaign event in Bauchi, Buhari paid respects to Alhaji Rilwanu Adamu, the Emir of Bauchi.
“I traveled to every one of this nation’s 774 local government units in 2003, 2012, and 2019, when I was running for re-election.
I would serve Nigeria and Nigerians to the best of my ability, I made a vow and a pledge there, he added.
The President praised Gov. Bala Mohammed for carrying out successful initiatives in the state and thanked the Emir for the kind welcome.
Adamu responded by thanking the president for coming and urging politicians to play politics without animosity.
The royal father prayed and wished the president a safe journey while praising the governor for making sure that all political parties in the state had an even playing field.
The President was accompanied on the tour by the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Bola Tinubu, Kashim Shettima, and the APC’s presidential candidate were among the others.
No representative from the APC was available to comment on the sad situation at the time this story was filed, thus all attempts to obtain an official response from them failed.
