Barr. Kenneth Imasuangbon, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Edo State, has insisted that the party’s presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will win the presidential election next month by a landslide.
Barr. Imasuangbon, also known as ‘Rice Man,’ stated that Nigerians were already anticipating a PDP-led government led by Atiku.
Imasuangbon said in a statement issued in Benin City on Friday that Atiku would win in over 25 states across the federation.
He stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has failed to explain to Nigerians what it has accomplished in the last seven and a half years.
He expressed confidence that, despite the actions of the G-5 governors, also known as the Integrity Group, many PDP stalwarts would work for Atiku’s victory.
“The PDP will win the general election next month,” he says. There is no crisis in the party, as the media portrays. We are a united family, and this will help us win easily.
“In Edo State, we have gone around the state sensitizing and educating people on the importance of using their PVC to vote out the APC.
“We are prepared to deliver Atiku in Edo and throughout the South-South States. We know that other states are prepared. In over 25 states, Atiku will win by a landslide.
“I appeal to all party members to work for the party because there is nothing to share in defeat. We must all work together to re-establish the country’s greatness.”
