Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), is still the best among the field of candidates vying for the coveted office of president in the 2023 election, according to Minister of State for Petroleum, Chief Timipre Sylva.

He supported his claims by referencing Tinubu’s past accomplishments as a politician, senator, and governor of Lagos state while speaking at the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential campaign event held yesterday in Yenagoa.

He argued that Tinubu’s top competitors, Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), cannot gain any ground in the 2023 presidential election.

“Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu is quite presidential,” he claimed. Nobody can match his track record of success. When they questioned me about why I am so certain that Tinubu is the best candidate for president, I said that I had no idea who else was running.

“They cite Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, but I reminded them that those individuals are insufficient opponents for our candidate given that we must consider their prior performance. What did Obi accomplish as governor of Anambra State?

Government is not just about being prudent; it’s also about providing possibilities, according to the minister who compared Peter Obi to a Biblical servant who was ineffective and unable to multiply his one talent into two.

The former governor of Bayelsa state argued that Atiku Abubakar lacked the resources necessary to effectively run the nation.

“Let’s talk about Atiku, his whole purpose in coming here is to sell the NNPC,” he said. He previously sold the other ones, but he failed to do so with NNPC, and he has informed us that he will return to do so for his pals.

He voiced dissatisfaction with Governor Diri Douye of Bayelsa state’s performance while lamenting the state’s infrastructure and growth.

Despite having a wealth of natural, human, and mineral resources, he claimed it beyond his mind that Bayelsa state is still the second poorest in Nigeria.

“We are all here, the state is in darkness, physically we are here, it is not on paper. We have seen everywhere, everywhere is dirty. This is to show that the governor, governor Diri, is clueless. “He doesn’t even know – instead of him to improve the infrastructure and development in the state, he is busy marrying more wives and also exposing his girlfriend in South Africa. So we are here for operation takeover. “Our state cannot continue to suffer in this present state. We must rescue the state – we are the second poorest state after Sokoto. How can that be? Our location is number three or number four, so where is the money going to? “And our population is the smallest in the country. So the man is wicked and all he is doing is just marrying wives. So today we are here for operation takeover come to the 2023 election. “We are going to deliver our presidential candidate and all the National Assembly candidates, that one will tell him that it is time to run to South Africa. We are going to chase him out from the state,” Nabena stated.

“You can also see when you walk through the streets of Bayelsa that they weren’t even ready, but today I’m not here to talk about Bayelsa state because that conflict will come up later, and we already know the conflict has been won today.”

As a result of the APC declaring operation take over Bayelsa, according to the former APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Yekini Nabena, governor Diri will be driven out of the state and forced to seek asylum in South Africa.

Hon. Yekini Nabena, who is also the chairman of the campaign publicity committee, explained the significance of the APC rally in the state to reporters. He said they were using the event to communicate to the Diri-led Bayelsa state government that the state belonged to the APC.

“Governor Diri was cited as saying that three bridges in Rivers state cost less than a kilometer of road in Bayelsa state. How are Rivers’ and Bayelsa’s landscapes distinct from one another?

“There is no distinction; these are sibling states. How can you claim that there is nothing to show after receiving that sum—100+ billion naira from the 13 percent derivation—?

“We are all present, the area is dark, and this is a physical location; it is not a written document. As far as we can tell, everything is dirty. This is to demonstrate how stupid the governor, governor Diri, is.

“He doesn’t even know; instead of working to expand the state’s infrastructure, he is preoccupied with taking on new wives and exposing his lover in South Africa. For operation takeover, we are present.

“Our state cannot suffer in this way for much longer. Being the second poorest state after Sokoto, we must save the state. How is that possible? Where is the money going when we are at number three or four?
