Downpour in many pieces of Adamawa State caused flooding in networks on Monday morning, running over homes, schools and streets.
A significant expressway, the Yola-Mubi street, was impacted, as vehicles couldn’t get from Yola to Melody, Gombi, Hong and different towns and networks northwards, including Mubi, Maiha, Michika and Madagali.
The flood ran over a long segment of the street among Girei and Jabi Lamba in the Girei neighborhood government region, making it unthinkable for any vehicle to pass either towards Mubi or towards Yola.
Our journalist, who got to the location of the flood not long before 9am, found that a few travelers and other street clients had been abandoned for around three hours, pausing and trusting that the flood would retreat soon enough for them to go through.
It down-poured around Yola and possible numerous different pieces of the State now and again a significant part of the prior long stretches of Monday, and over the outing from Yola to the part where the flood cut off the expressway close to Jabi Lamba, a few houses, shops and schools
apparent from the thruway were seen to have been overwhelmed.
