The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi State has disowned Senator Dino Melaye, warning him to stop parading himself as a member of the party.

State Public Relations Officer, Tayo John, issued the warning in Lokoja on Friday, stressing that Melaye has no ties to the ADC at the ward or state level. John said Melaye has repeatedly interfered in the party’s affairs while launching attacks on its leadership.

He insisted that the party’s executives remain a distinct and independent structure, adding that there is no merger with what he described as “marauders” who falsely claim ADC membership.

“Dino Melaye is not a member of ADC in Kogi State; he is not known in his ward as a member of our party,” he declared. “He has no identity in our party and cannot speak for the ADC in Kogi State.”

John further dismissed Melaye as a “social media content creator” whose actions amount to mere noise-making. He said Melaye’s activities do not align with ADC principles and therefore he lacks any authority to comment on or influence the party’s leadership structure.
