Ademola Adeleke, the governor of Osun State, has claimed that Gboyega Oyetola plotted “evil” against him.
The governor of Osun claimed that Oyetola prepared numerous “traps” for him before leaving office in an effort to thwart the initiatives and plans of his government.
However, the governor said that within a week of taking office, he had already started to tear down what he called Oyetola’s nefarious buildings.
“The man I beat prepared numerous traps for my administration, but we are taking down all the bad structures they put in place,” declared Mr. Adeleke.
At a Thanksgiving service held at Ede’s Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim, Oke Gada, the governor mentioned the “evil” plot.
The incoming governor said that he spent his first week in office “cleaning up the mess” that Mr. Oyetola left behind.
“I have taken control of the situation and established strong governance throughout the first week. According to a statement released by his spokesman Olawale Rasheed, the Osun governor stated, “I will continue the fantastic work from the coming week. “The system is being upended. Our agenda has been revealed, and implementation has started.
Mr. Adeleke mentioned the conspiracies and the defamation campaign he faced while reflecting on the struggles he faced leading up to the governorship race.
“We had some difficult days before we got here,” he continued. I can’t help but thank God, my sister, my brother, my friends, my political allies, and the wonderful people of Osun state all the time,” he said.
“That overwhelming support was the reason I got started right away a week ago. To eliminate all illegalities and clean up the mess I inherited, I issued those executive orders.
