AfriTECH 6.0 will bring policymakers, investors, technology founders and digital economy leaders together in Lagos on Thursday, 13 November 2026.
The sixth edition of the Africa Tech Alliance Forum will take place at the Oriental Hotel on Lekki Road.
Organisers have chosen “The Next $1 Trillion Opportunity: Building Africa Through Technology” as the theme for this year’s forum.
The event will focus on Africa’s digital economy and the role technology can play in expanding economic opportunities across the continent.
The organisers say the forum will examine what is needed to turn Africa’s growing digital sector into a trillion-dollar economic opportunity.
It will also bring together people involved in technology investment, policy, entrepreneurship, telecommunications and digital services.
Focus on Africa’s digital economy
Africa’s technology sector has expanded rapidly in recent years. The continent has attracted significant investment and produced several successful technology companies.
However, businesses and technology developers continue to face challenges.
These include limited digital infrastructure, differences in regulations between countries and difficulties accessing capital.
The forum will therefore provide a platform for discussions on how governments, investors and technology companies can address these challenges.
According to the organisers, AfriTECH 6.0 will examine the infrastructure and policies required to support Africa’s next stage of digital growth.
The discussions are expected to cover investment, innovation, technology infrastructure and the wider digital economy.
Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards
The sixth edition will also feature the Africa Tech Alliance Excellence Awards, known as ATAEx.
The awards recognise achievements across Africa’s technology, fintech, telecommunications and digital economy sectors.
They will form part of the wider programme for AfriTECH 6.0, which aims to connect key stakeholders working across Africa’s technology ecosystem.
The forum comes as African countries continue to expand digital services and seek greater investment in technology.
Organisers say the event will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss practical ways to strengthen the continent’s technology ecosystem.
