Hajia Sa’adatu Bello Kirfi, Commissioner of Cooperatives and SMEs Development, has resigned.
It comes only a day after her father, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Kirfi, was deposed as Wazirin Bauchi.

Her resignation was delivered to Governor Bala Mohammed on January 4 via the Secretary to the State Government.

“Your Excellency, I respectfully present my resignation as a member of the Bauchi State Executive Council, and Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs Development, Bauchi State, with immediate effect,” it says in part.

“I would like to express my gratitude to His Excellency the Executive Governor for allowing me to serve my state under your administration.”

Previously, the Bauchi Emirate Council ousted Alhaji Kirfi as Wazirin Bauchi for reportedly “disrespecting” the governor.
