Kehinde Fatinoye, a staff member of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), was assassinated on Sunday in Ogun State.

He was slain alongside his wife, who was a Principal Confidential Secretary at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB till the tragedy.

According to reports, the mysterious individuals attacked the couple’s Ibara GRA residence just after they returned from the New Year crossing service.

Inside their home, the couple was murdered and set on fire by their assailants. The assassins also allegedly kidnapped the couple’s son and domestic workers.

 

“It is true that the incident occurred,” stated Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesman for the Ogun State police department. The investigation has begun. Someone has been arrested in relation to the event.
