The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) came under fire on Wednesday from Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh for designating controversial musician Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, as an ambassador for the fight against drug misuse.

The performer went to the NDLEA office and endorsed the fight against drug misuse there.

Over a year after he tweeted that nobody should be imprisoned for using marijuana, Naira Marley was appointed.

The Nollywood actress commented on the situation on her own Instagram profile and criticized the anti-drug organization.

While seething about their decision, she claimed the agency made a regrettable action, which should not have happened if they actually knew their job.

“I don’t involve myself in bullshit, especially other people’s bullshit,” she captioned the photo. I must admit that this is the largest scandal involving a government organization or drug enforcement organization.

You look like a shame, @ndlea_nigeria. Although I’m open to a swap, this is not meant as an insult. A daughter of the earth is speaking out against your misbehavior. Is this a comedy program or a skit?

Additionally, the actress promised to follow up with the agency in regards to their claimed lack of sincerity. She continued by saying that she would also be prepared to confront the agency if it decided to come for her.

While tagging the law enforcement agency, the 38-year-old actress stated that she had a lot to say but would prefer wait for the agency to invite her over.

“I’d like to say more, but I’m going to wait for @ndlea_nigeria to pick me up for an interview or drug test, or just to talk about why I’m brave enough to call them out.”

“Sirs/ma’s, I’m prepared. You’ve got my address. I’ll ask that you do it with courtesy; otherwise, we’ll have a problem. “And if I get a response, I’ll gladly respond disrespectfully,” she continued.

The River state-born actress went on to say that her issues were not with the artiste, who was announced to join the agency’s campaign, but with the government.
