-Dalori Takes Charge After Ganduje’s Exit
– APC Holds Emergency NEC Meeting in Abuja Amid Leadership Shift

Ali Bukar Dalori, the newly appointed Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken charge of the party’s leadership following the resignation of Abdullahi Ganduje.

Dalori is currently presiding over an emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja. The high-level meeting is expected to address key party matters and set the tone for the party’s next strategic direction.

Dalori’s emergence comes on the heels of Ganduje’s resignation last Friday, reportedly on health grounds. His exit triggered a swift response from President Bola Tinubu, who directed Dalori, the APC Vice Chairman (North), to step in as acting national chairman.

Dalori, a prominent party figure from Borno State in Nigeria’s North-East, officially resumed duty at the party headquarters on Monday morning.

The ongoing NEC meeting marks Dalori’s first official assignment in his new role and underscores the party’s urgency to stabilise its leadership structure and maintain internal cohesion.

Party leaders, state chairmen, and key stakeholders are reportedly attending the closed-door session to deliberate on the next steps for the ruling party amid ongoing national political realignments.
