Amotekun Patrol Vehicle Bursts Into Flames Under Mokola Bridge in Ibadan

An Amotekun patrol vehicle burst into flames on Thursday while in motion under the Mokola Bridge in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Oyo State Fire Service confirmed the incident in a statement signed by its chairman, Maroof Akinwande. He disclosed that firefighters raced to the scene and swiftly contained the fire, preventing further damage.

According to Akinwande, no casualties were recorded. The statement added that operatives of the Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency (OYRTMA) and policemen from the Mokola Division also assisted in managing the situation. The cause of the fire has not yet been disclosed.
