After nearly an hour and forty minutes, the game resumed, and Bohdan Mykhailichenko equalized for Shakhtar. Later, Lucas Taylor was dismissed from Shakhtar.
In order to deny Shakhtar all three points, Oleksander Demchenko scored late. Mykhailo Mudryk had made it 2-1. With 20 points after the draw, Shakhtar is now second in the league.
On Wednesday, RB Leipzig visits Shakhtar, which has been hosting Champions League games in Warsaw this year. With six points, it is in third place in Group F of the premier club championship in Europe.
