Murray, who faced Djokovic 36 times throughout his career, understands the stress and intensity of top-level tennis and is open to Djokovic venting his frustrations as long as he is putting in his best effort.

Speaking ahead of the Australian Open, Murray emphasized that he doesn’t expect Djokovic to ask him to act as a traditional coach. Murray acknowledged the pressures of competing at such a high level but also highlighted the great rewards that come with achieving great success in the sport.

The Australian Open main draw begins on January 12, with Djokovic set to face American wildcard Nishesh Basavareddy in the first round.
