Anglican Archdeacon Kidnapped Outside Anambra Church, Police Yet to Confirm Details

Venerable  David Arinze Ajaefobi, Archdeacon of Oyi Central and Vicar of St. James’ Parish, Awkuzu, was reportedly abducted by unidentified individuals on Saturday night. The incident took place around 9:00 p.m. at the entrance of St. James’ Parish in Oyi, Anambra State, as he arrived.

As of now, the kidnappers have made no contact for ransom or explanation. Meanwhile, the church has initiated prayer sessions for his swift and safe return.

Anambra State Police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, stated that no official report of the abduction has reached the police yet.
