Annie Idibia Warns Daughter Against Repeating Her Marital Mistakes with 2Face

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has cautioned her daughter against enduring the struggles she faced in her marriage to music star 2Face Idibia.

In a cryptic Instagram story on Monday, the actress expressed hope that her daughter would chart a different path in relationships.

“I hope my daughter doesn’t accept things I’ve accepted, that she knows her worth from the start and that no matter what, she always has me in her corner,” Annie wrote.

Her statement is widely seen as a veiled reflection of her turbulent union with 2Face, who fathered five children outside their marriage.

The couple officially parted ways in January 2025, with 2Face later marrying Natasha Osawaru in a private ceremony in July of the same year.
